The starting point for the talks is the topic of their current work and its organization from home. Each interlocutor also chooses a book, film or artwork that is important for him/her and relates to the current crisis situation.
All participants of the project are not only art curators (or exhibition organizers, coordinators, artists) but also parents.
This double category of selection is important – first of all, because it is emotionally charged as I am included in that group, and so I am interested in the common points and different opinions. What’s more, children broaden adults’ horizons and introduce their original elements into our temporary offices. For example, their own installations that multiply the feeling of being at home: blanket houses, pillow buses, castles under the table and ephemeral utility items in the spirit of Katerina Kamprani’s The Uncomfortable objects.
In this project I give space to these activities by illustrating each text with a picture of the hut/tipi/other construction made by children during the ongoing house self-quarantine. The questions I ask my interlocutors are not directly related to being a parent in an epidemic and #homeoffice situation. But when combined with the images of fragile, temporary shelters built in our houses – will create a metaphor of where we are – as a society, as those who “care”, as people facing the task of building a world based on new constructions.

Krótkie rozmowy z kuratorami sztuki odnoszące się do sytuacji epidemii, następujących zmian w życiu społecznym, perspektyw, lęków i nadziei co do świata post-coronialnego.
Wyjściem do rozmów jest temat ich obecnej pracy i jej organizacji z domowego zaplecza. Każdy rozmówca wybiera ważną dla siebie książkę, film lub dzieło sztuki odnoszące się do obecnej sytuacji kryzysu.
Wszyscy, biorący udział w tym projekcie to nie tylko kuratorzy sztuki (lub organizatorzy wystaw, koordynatorzy, artyści) ale także rodzice.
Ta podwójna kategoria doboru jest ważna – przede wszystkim, dlatego że osobiście też się w niej znajduje, więc ciekawią mnie punkty styczne i odległe punkty widzenia. Co więcej, dzieci poszerzają horyzonty myślowe dorosłych i wprowadzają w nasze tymczasowe biura swoje elementy. Jak na przykład nieustające własne instalacje zwielokrotniające poczucie bycia w domu: domki z koców, autobusy z poduszek, zamki pod stołami i efemeryczne przedmioty użytkowe w duchu przedmiotów Kateriny Kamprani z serii The Uncomfortable.
W tym projekcie oddaję miejsce tym działaniom, ilustrując każdy tekst zdjęciem domku/schronu/konstrukcji wykonanej przez dzieci w trakcie trwającej kwarantanny domowej. Chociaż pytania, jakie zadaję moim rozmówcom nie odnoszą się bezpośrednio do bycia rodzicem w sytuacji epidemii i #homeoffice, to w połączeniu z obrazami kruchych, tymczasowych domków w domach opowiedzą metaforycznie o tym, gdzie jesteśmy – jako społeczeństwo, jako ci, co „opiekują się”, jako ludzie stojący przed zadaniem budowania świata opartego o inne niż dotychczas konstrukcje.
